Public Privacy

It has been brought to my attention recently that there are numerous experiments being done to develop a various assortment of modern technologies and software that will allow people to obtain a deeper look into anyone's personal information. Most of these concepts are based on an augmented reality that uses three dimensional visualizations that surround who you are looking at with written information about their personal interests or background. The thought of this technology being available to everyone is kind of scary, but what people don't realize is that the invasion of our privacy is gradually becoming inevitable anyway. With all of the information we provide about ourselves in social networking, and all of the status updates that are linked to our every move, we really have no idea how exposed we already are. We don't ever pay attention to what we reveal because at the time it seems harmless. But what we do in life and on the internet is constantly being watched by audiences that we have never even come in contact with. Even the webcams on our personal pc have the capability of being hacked into and allow others to see things we don't want them seeing. We might as well just except the fact that we will one day be completely exposed and nothing can be done about it

Been A While

So... I have been so caught up with my school work that I have had very little time to do much else. That is why I haven't posted anything to my blog in quite some time. Not much has gone on in the life of Cyrus since my last post. Actually I take that back. There has been a few things that are definitely worth writing about. I visited my hometown of New Orleans over spring break and got to fall back in love with the city. And even though there were times that were very scary and life threatening, I still managed to have a great time. I'm slowly finishing off my latest music project which I am actually very proud of. I'm hoping that this one might turn some heads and get some positive feedback. I am also rounding off the end of the semester which makes me incredibly happy. I'm making good grades and staying on top of all my assignments, that's pretty good for me. And now I feel like I'm just rambling. Anyway, that's about it so far. I am sure to have something to vent about soon and maybe I'll use my blog as an outlet. So stay tuned. And have a good day

Saints

I can't even begin to explain how happy and proud I am to be a saints fan. For years we have watched the saints as they built up their reputation as an "almost" team. And now we have the long awaited privilege of being able to watch them go to the superbowl. Growing up in New Orleans as a Saints fan was never easy because of how bad the team used to be. But no matter what I always kept my head up with the rising thought that someday in the duration of my existence, I would watch this team in a superbowl game for their first time. Now that the thought is a reality I am absolutely ecstatic. Many times I have witnessed this team get so close to making history and more and more I grew faithless. Even when they got to a 12 and 0 streak I still had a guard up as if I was afraid to completely fall in love in fear of heart brake. But now, my heart is with them. After all the city of New Orleans has been through, even before the disaster of "Katrina" , it deserves a new beginning. I will proudly wear my black and gold as I cheer them on to what I could only hope to be their first but not last superbowl game, and more importantly their first superbowl victory. Since the day I was old enough to say "Who Dat" , I have waited for this very moment. Good Luck to the Saints! You have already made me proud, now just make me right.
